What is OUT OF BOUNDS?
Out of bounds is beyond the boundaries of the course or any part of the course so marked by the Committee and may be marked by white stakes and/or a line on the ground.
If marked by white stakes then out of bounds is defined by an imaginary line joining the inside (course side) of the stakes. When out of bounds is defined by a line on the ground, the line itself is out of bounds.
A ball is out of bounds when ALL of it lies out of bounds.
What are my options if my ball is out of bounds?
The only option if your ball is out of bounds is to replay your shot from where the original shot was played under penalty of one stroke.
If you have played a provisional ball then you must continue to play this ball also under penalty of one stroke.
